This journal allows and encourages authors for an item to be submitted to the journal on a personal website or institutional repository prior to publication, while providing bibliographic details that credit, in effect, their publication in this journal. Media Ilmu Kesehatan utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal. Journals that have been published are stored in the Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta Library and LIPI (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia).
