Journal of Innovation in Community Empowerment (JICE), with registration number ISSN 2716-3490 (print), ISSN 2716-3504 (online), is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta since 2019. This journal is a national-level journal that contains many problems or issues related to community service. The publication of this journal aims to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of community service.

The journal is currently indexed by national and international indexing institutions such as Google Scholar, Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), and several other indexing institutions. JICE focuses on developing the integration concept between research and community empowerment in many sciences such as management, information technology, health, economics, humanity and society, law, and the other sciences.

JICE contains various activities of lecturers in handling and managing multiple potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. The implementation of service activities also involves the participation of the community and peers. Service activities are held to improve the welfare of the community. JICE also publishes a review with a specific theme decided by the editor.

JICE was first published in September 2019 with the title Volume 1 No. 1. Since 2020, this journal has been published twice a year, in March and September. Any interested author can submit a manuscript following the submission guidelines. Please read the guidelines carefully. Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to the Journal of Community Service editors must comply with the writing guidelines. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or is written in a different format, it will be REJECTED by the editor before further review. The editor will only accept manuscripts that meet the specified form.

Each article to the editor will be selected through the Desk Review and Evaluation of the Preliminary Manuscript by the Editorial Board. Then, the paper will be sent to the Bestari Partner/peer reviewer and will enter the next election through the Double-Blind Peer-Review Process.
