Background: The prevalence of patients with autoimmune and autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases in Indonesia is quite high. Rheumatic diseases can cause a wide range of manifestations, one of which affects the eyes. Up to now, there has been a lack of adequate basic data related to patients with autoimmune and autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases at Dr. Soetomo General Hospital with manifestations of eye disorders. The research is expected to serve as a basis for further studies and improvements in prevention for rheumatic patients with eye disorders.
Purpose: Understanding the profile of eye disorders in patients with autoimmune and autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases in the outpatient department of Dr. Soetomo Regional General Hospital during the period of 2017 – 2022.

Results: Patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases are predominantly female and work as homemakers (IRT), with ages over 55 years accounting for 47.9% in RA patients, between 36 – 45 years for 23.6% in SLE patients, over 55 years for 44.4% in SSc patients, and between 17 – 25 years for 50% in SS patients. The most common eye disorder experienced by patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases is KCS. In patients with autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases, females dominate in SpA patients, with the highest age group being over 55 years (38.6%), and working as homemakers (IRT). BD patients are found to be between 36 – 45 years old (100%), male, and working as entrepreneurs. The predominant eye disorder occurring in SpA and BD patients is anterior uveitis.
Conclusions: In patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases, the most common eye disorder found is keratoconjunctivitis sicca. In patients with autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases, the most common eye disorder found is anterior uveitis.
